What is Peka AR?

Product photos in, artist-finished 3D + AR models on your storefront, in hours.

What does this viewer do?

An online 3D model viewer renders a model file — usually GLB or GLTF for the web, USDZ for iOS AR — directly in a browser tab. Useful for quickly checking that a model actually matches the product before it goes anywhere near a storefront.

This one adds two things a bare viewer does not: an in-browser AR launch test (does this device support viewing it in your space?) and a file-facts panel (mesh, vertex, material and texture counts, plus file size). Both are computed from the file bytes in front of you — the same numbers you would use when sizing a model for a product page. Shopify's partner guidance, for context, recommends practical web-safe model sizes — roughly 4 MB or less — with mobile textures kept modest.

For an embeddable version of the same experience — one line of HTML, AR buttons, load poster — that is the embed code generator next to it, or the full managed pipeline on the homepage.

How to use it

  1. Choose a .glb / .gltf / .usdz file — or load a demo model — then drag to orbit and scroll to zoom.
  2. Use the Controls panel to sweep camera, exposure, shadows and environment until the preview looks right.
  3. If the AR button appears, your device can show the model in-room. Use Save PNG for a quick snapshot.

FAQ

What is an online 3D model viewer?

A page that renders GLB, GLTF or USDZ files in WebGL so you can rotate, zoom and inspect a model without installing Blender or a dedicated viewer app.

Do I need to upload the file somewhere?

No. Files you pick stay on your device; the page reads the bytes in memory and renders them locally. Nothing is sent to a server.

Why can USDZ show fewer details than GLB?

USDZ is a ZIP-style archive for iOS Quick Look. The checker reports its name, format and size, but mesh facts inside it are not readable in-browser.

Can I use the result on a storefront?

Rendering a model in a viewer is a separate step from shipping it. For an embeddable, AR-ready viewer tied to your product, that is the Peka AR embed — same model format, one line of HTML.
